Free Living

I embedded a straw hive - inheritance of my grandfather - in the stonewall surrounding our garden. In one or two years honey bees settled in it. They did well, but in a long and cold winter a badger plundered and destroyed the hive.
I changed the hive in a heavy wooden one and now there are bees again . I have no pictures of it.
