We live in Hampshire UK. With John Haverson's help, we erected a log hive of our making into an Ash tree June 2019. In June 2020 a swarm from one of our Warrè hives swarmed. They inspected a Warrè bait hive and the log hive at the same time. We then watched them make the decisive move into the log hive. In August they were doing very well, with plenty of pollen going in.
