New Homeowners wanted to get rid of these bees because they thought they had just recently swarmed to the tree nest. What actually happened was the tree nest had just swarmed. After explaining to them the special nature of this tree nest and showing the approximate age based on propolis build up on nest perimeter they decided to leave them alone.
