Walking in the mountains, on my way to get some herbs, I happened to hear a buzz coming from a beautiful cherry tree. I only stopped on my way back when, looking closer, I found them flying in and out of a natural cavity in the tree. My first wild cherries of the year and my first wild bees nest ever!
There may be hope! Witnessing them bringing pollen into the hive was such a promising sight! They may survive us after all.
